Child Custody Evaluations: We offer the most high quality Child Custody Evals based on fair, unbiased interviews and evaluations. The team at FBAofPA has extensive training and experience at unbiased Child Custody Evaluations. Decades of experience in working with children, adolescents and adults, plus expert court experience will help you achieve your goals. Functional Behavioral Assessments: FBA of PA focuses on the completion of functional behavior assessments and other behavior monitoring programs for children and adolescents struggling with behavior that restricts their access to an age-appropriate education or to community activities. FBA of PA can manage large case loads, remain impartial, and collaborate effectively with parents and schools. FBA of PA addresses these barriers, giving the family an evaluation of the problematic behavior (s) to help the child and everyone involved in the child's life. FBA Training: The FBAofPA team can train most anyone to be a Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) in 16 hours. We have staff that are trained and certified by the Bureau of Autism, and we have the training materials to assist in the process. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Supervision: We offer expert, high quality LPC supervision. Aspiring LPC's can obtain the required hours of one on one supervision with dynamic, experienced, diversified LPC's that will go beyond the norm. Psychological Evaluations: FBA of PA offers comprehensive, psychological evaluations including MMPI testing, family history, substance abuse history, Personality Assessment Inventory, BASC-II, BRIEF, CONNERS III, BROWN Scale, and many more tests. |
Matt Shollenberger, Ph.D.,P.C. With three decades of experience, much of Dr. Shollenberger's knowledge is in assessing and treating children, adolescents, and families. He is Board Certified and a Licensed Professional Counselor in PA. In addition, he has extensive evaluation abilities, nearly two decades of court experience, and expert clinical skills. Dr. Shollenberger has taught undergraduate and graduate courses for nearly 20 years. He has worked in or with practically every school in Berks, Chester, and Lancaster Counties. Dr. Shollenberger strives to complete insightful and swift assessments, delivering caring and practical solutions. He has extensive Child Custody experience. Matthew Mauriello, M.A. Matthew is a Board Certified Counselor, experienced in working with children and adolescents with mild to severe behavioral impairments. He is expertly trained and vastly experienced in school-based consultation through years as a behavior specialist consultant. He frequently writes psychologically-related and behaviorally-based reports for sharing with parents, educations, and managed care companies. He has created, edited and monitored numerous behavioral treatment plans for children with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses. Matthew has extensive training in systematic observation. He also has experience with the administration and interpretation of common assessment instruments for children, adolescents and adults. In addition, he is certified by the Bureau of Autism Services to train other individuals in the implementation of functional behavior assessments. |
Stephanie Carstens, B.A. Stephanie is clinically experienced, focusing on the behaviors of children and the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has worked in HeadStart with children, teachers, and parents. As part of a research team, she has experience with medical, cognitive, and emotional assessments of the children. Stephanie Carstens is completing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Chestnut Hill College. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from West Chester University. As a Chester County native, Ms. Carstens is grateful to have the opportunity to give her expertise to the community. |
Karen Schutter Karen has worked in the administration field for the last ten years; she functions as an administrative and behavioral assistant. She currently is completing a B.A degree in Psychology at Penn State University. She is persuing her masters in Secondary School Counseling and continue her work with children. |
